There are people who invest in the regional infrastructure. This is how old traditions are revived. The old farm shop in the center of 15859 Kehrigk will reopen on April 1st. The doors are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here you can find happy potatoes from free-range farmers. Fresh eggs from scratching poultry and everything that the regional organic production has to offer in the way of fruit and vegetables or jams and juices. You are cordially invited to this opening. Coffee, cake, Bockwurst, soup, soft ice cream and lots of tasty things for your physical well-being will be served. We also have 6 donkeys on site who will delight visitors in a carriage or on a short walk between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Ralf, Bernd, Frank, Jörg, Olaf and Daniel are waiting for lovely guests who enjoy a shared spring experience. They want to smuggle a great photo into the family album and put a smile on the faces of guests, big and small. We hope for sunshine and are looking forward to new and old guests who will start the spring with us. Registration is not necessary. We are simply here. Hopefully you will too

Moving to the countryside and founding a self-sufficient farm were reactions to hectic city life and led to a focus on organic food. Personal events and the birth of children motivated me to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. My job in the hairdressing industry helped me to simplify hair care and consume less. Today, I share my experiences and beliefs through public relations and social media to inspire others.
In our alienating village of Kehrigk, the answer is taking shape: a farm community that is reviving the roots of our old agricultural traditions. A Voluntary Ecological Year requires determined young people who want to live ecologically and make a contribution to saving the world. This involves a lot of manual work to provide sustainable food, housing and leisure. Practical work to regenerate nature and create habitats for animals are also part of the program. Applications can be submitted via the contact form or directly via ijgd-Brandenburg. A lot of support is needed to achieve noticeable changes in the village and surrounding area.
